Ganbina recognises the need for the indigenous community to be accepted and respected in a positive light and for the contribution that they bring to the wider community. To fully participate in contributing to the social capital of the wider community, the indigenous community needs to be seen as investors and not just takers. As such, Ganbina has continued to provide targeted financial support to general community initiatives.

Additional, Ganbina maintains a joint fund with Working Partners alliance organisation Worktrainers Ltd. This pool will be distributed to community initiatives allowing both organisations to investment into community advancement away from our operational areas of employment.

GANBINA periodically contributes to community initiatives and publications such as ‘Phoenix’ (Official journal of the Victoria Emergency Service Association) and the Police Citizens Youth Clubs’ ‘Streetsmart!’ handbook.

GANBINA is a Brolga Club member of the Rumbalara Football Netball Club and supports The Community Fund
