Partner Schools
Ganbina works with all secondary schools in the local area and also provides scholarships for children in primary schools. By engaging with young people from an early age while they are still at school, we help them to make the most of their full educational opportunities.
A minimum of 80 per cent of Ganbina students in Years 7 to 12 successfully complete their current year of schooling every year. National completion statistics are not available due to different schools' collection methods, but Ganbina's results are recognised as being significantly higher than the national average. > Ganbina school stories |

"Besides health, nothing matters more than education in improving the life chances of indigenous Australians... Adults - indigenous and non indigenous - who have finished Year 12 are healthier, happier, less likely to need welfare, less likely to be charged with crime and more likely to find rewarding jobs... Too many who have the ability still lack the opportunity." Mr Terry Moran, AO, Secretary, Department of Prime Minister & Cabinet 'Reconciliation Australia: Closing the Gap Lecture', 2009 |
