Meagan O'Shannessy is one of Ganbina's many success stories. And as we found out her story hasn't ended...it's an ongoing journey! Meagan's journey with Ganbina began back in 2003 when she participated in the Driver Skills Program. Within 18-months she gained her Learner's Permit and worked her way toward a Probationary Licence.

2005 was a fabulous year for Meagan. She graduated Year 12 at Shepparton High School, took out the first Ganbina Youth of the Year Award and was on the road with a licence and car.  Meagan, now 19-years-old, had good work ethic from an early age working part-time at McDonald's Family Restaurant in Shepparton for about three years while she completed school. After leaving school, Ganbina opened a door for Meagan to start full-time employment as a Payroll Administration Officer at the City of Greater Shepparton and currently holds this position that helps manage a payroll of more than 600 staff. Meagan has been a Jobs 4U2 and Ladders to Success participant that supports the transition from education through to accessing local employment.

"Ganbina gave me a brilliant opportunity to get out there in the workforce - getting full-time work my first year out of school," Meagan said. "The staff is always there to support you. They also found a book keeping course for me to do that complements my career path."

Meagan and her husband Brad are also planning to buy and operate their own dairy farm near Shepparton and have a bright future ahead.
