GANBINA’s Vision, Mission and Values

1 Vision

Within two generations to see Indigenous people in the Goulburn Valley sharing the economic benefits of the region in an equitable manner.

2 Mission

GANBINA will improve the economic and social well-being of Indigenous people in the Goulburn Valley, through the implementation of programmes and initiatives focused on developing individuals in order that they can contribute to the fullest of their capability within the community.

3 Values

In meeting the economic, employment and training needs of the Indigenous community in the Goulburn Valley, GANBINA will act as follows:

	Equity GANBINA will be fair and reasonable in all its dealings;
	Honesty GANBINA will be honest in all its dealings;
	Transparency GANBINA’s deliberations and processes will be transparent to the community;
	Indigenous Culture GANBINA will value Indigenous culture and promote Indigenous culture to the Indigenous and broader community;
	Integrity GANBINA will act with integrity in all its dealings;
	Ethics In all its dealings, GANBINA will ‘do the right thing’;
	Professionalism In all its dealings, GANBINA will exhibit the highest levels of professionalism;
	The Family GANBINA recognises the unique position of families and family values within Indigenous culture, and will at all times act in order to strengthen families within the Indigenous and broader community;
	Commitment GANBINA is committed to improving the economic and social well-being of the Indigenous community within the Goulburn Valley through effective employment, economic and training initiatives.
